Looking for any information about the family of Albert Leslie Norris, born 1923 Liverpool, died 1986 Liverpool. I know he was married twice: Lilian Jones and Mary Beaman. The later being my nanna. I know his parents were William Norris and Agnes Gibson and it is the Norris side that I would like more information about. Is anyone connected to this family who can help me?

This is Albert's birth:
NORRIS, Albert L
Registration district: West Derby
Year of registration: 1923 / Dec qtr
Mother's maiden name: Gibson
Volume no: 8B; Page no: 751.

There would appear to be 2 older siblings:
NORRIS, Agnes M - West Derby - 1919 [m/n Gibson]
NORRIS, Veronica M - West Derby - 1921 [m/n Gibson]

If the parents William Norris and Agnes Gibson did not have any other forenames, they may not have been married. At least I haven't found a match yet. If you have the birth and marriage certs for Albert what was his father's occupation on each occasion?

No wonder I couldn't find the marriage! The GRO Index has it as William Morris.

William Morris married Agnes M Gibson
Registration district: Liverpool
Year of registration: 1913 / Sep qtr
Volume no: 8B; Page no: 57.

This could be his birth reg. It's the only one in the frame for Liverpool.
Births Mar 1892: Norris, William - W. Derby - 8b - 547.
Baptism anywhere?

But where is he in 1901?

Hmm can't see Andrew Richard Norris but there is a Richard Andrew Norris, birth reg in 1867...

In the latest census he is a Hotel Manager at 74 & 75 Waterloo Road

Willaim is only 15 though, so not sure about this family
