Can anyone tell me who lived at 107 Errol Street in 1935. My great great aunt, Margaret Ellen Tester has this as her destination address on the SS Balranald passenger list returning from Australia. It rings no bells for me!
Thanks in advance
Barbara

Have you sent a message to Jan or Erika? they have the nearest directory - 1938. To get any nearer than that you will need to check the Electoral Registers at the Record Office.

Thanks to everyone on the forum and to Sharon for her PM. Mystery solved, Mary Jane Barker was my great grandmother and Margaret Ellen was her sister. I didn't know the Barkers had lived in Errol Street.
Many thanks for the quick response.
Barbara
PS Percy Tester no relation. Margaret's husband was George and I think he had died by then.
