The Dawsons 1911 - Help!

Hi I wonder if anyone can assist!
I'm from the Isle of Man and have recently discovered that my great grandfather Joseph Dawson worked on the Liverpool docks in the early 1900's and in the 1911 cencus he is down as living with the family in 46 Northcote Street, Everton? He was living there with his wife and 4 children, 2 of whom I never knew until I pulled up the census! The schedule number of the particular page is 302. I'm particularly keen to see if:
a) I can track down birth certificate copies for Sydney Dawson (1907) and Edith Mona Dawson (1910)
b) What possibly became of the 2 children I wasn't aware of (Joseph Dawson Jnr - Born 1902) and David Dawson - Born 1904)
It may be a case that I have family in Liverpool I never knew about!
Cheers
Nick

http://www.lancashirebmd.org.uk show it as a registry office/registrar attended marriage so you would have to buy a copy of the cert to obtain further details

Wow that is amazing news thanks very much Carole! I certinaly have some lines to go down, worth at least getting some copies of birth / marriage certs etc to see if the family tie in.
The IOM BMD and burials index is great and free - usually the bigger sites want a subscription etc
Cheers again, with this searching I get more questions than answers!

Hi, welcome to the forum Nick, I see our Carole has boxed everything off nicely there, including the suggestions about which free sites to use, well done.

I wonder how Joseph turned out when he grew older, I'd be curious to know if the marriage to Alice McAteer is the correct one since it is noted that Joseph was "feeble minded" at 3 years.
