I have relatives who have had shops and business premises in liverpool and birkenhead circa 1870 to 1920 are there any good sources for photographs of named streets?

Liverpool Record Office has a photographic collection held at the moment at their satellite office at Sandhills.

Apart from the above good suggestions, you could check our websites board where other sites have been listed as our members have come across a good one.
