war diaries

Hi Looking for information on 6th east lancs my grandads records are in the burnt records I know he was shoot in the lung and was in the 31 british hospital in Mesopotamia on 28th February 1917he then moved to hospital ship varsova date of arrival 24/03/1917

Welcome to the forum.
I suspect there is not much info to be found here on East Lancs men or units, but if you try the Great War Forum you will certainly get good advice on war diaries and how to find them.
