Queries arising out of birth/death certificates - Graley

I have been trying to track my G Grandmother's family for some years - particularly between 1871 and 1881 as they are not on the census. My G Grandmother was Susannah Graley and her mother was Mary Graley. Her mother was Mary and father Thomas. There is a similarly named female to MAry on the 1881 census in the workhouse which may be her mother but I cannot find any other fanmily members. In 1886 Susnnah was sent to Canada by the Nugent Society.
I have recently fopund an extra 2 siblings for Susannah using the Catholic baptism records. I now have death and birth certificates and these reveal that in 1874 and 1877 the family were at 4 Court, St James Street. Is there any way I can check this address for 1871 and 1881?
In addition Thomas was born in 1874 not at home but at 28 either London or Jordan Street (it is unclear). Could I find out who was living at this address?
Many thanks.

28 Jordan Street 1871 has 17 people living there nobody name Graley.
See RG10/3778/76/17-18
St James Street 4Ct. 1871 - Runs from RG10/3778/70/6 - 71/7-8 72/9-10 and 73/11
Hope you can find this useful, but do not appear to have any Graleys.

Hi,
Is this Susannah's birth? Unfortunately you omitted her age from your post.
Name: GRALEY, Susannah
Registration District: Liverpool; Year/qtr of registration: 1868 / Jul-Aug-Sep; Volume No: 8B; Page No: 212.
In 1881 Susannah is a 'scholar' here: St Anns Industrial School, 69 Mason St, West Derby, Liverpool.
RG12 - Piece:3706 - Folio:9 - Page:11.
That would possibly correlate with her mother, Mary, being in a workhouse in the same census.
Was Graley Mary's maiden name and when was she born?

1881 at 28 Jordan Street, Kellys, Smiths and Connollys only.
1881 St James Street, House numbers appear to run from 12-140 including a couple of pubs. Over 60 originals to look through.

Many thanks for looking those up - I am very grateful. I have put the references into the keyword box on Ancestry and I get a Grayson Street. I think I am doing it wrong - I am not sure how to use the references or how to look up using an address. I only know how to use the surname. Am I correct in putting it in the keyword box? How do I then get to the correct address? Apologies for being so stupid.
I also owe another apology. The Susannah Graley you found IS the correct birth as is the 1881 entry. I cannot find her father Thomas or brother James in 1881 (I am guessing it is her mother in Brownlow Hill Workhouse). In 1871 I cannot find anybody. That was why I hoped the addresses for the 1874 birth might help to place them if there is a recording error or similar.
In 1868 one of their children died of malnutrtion and several other children died soon after birth so they were living at the very edge of survival.
Mary Graley was born Mary McGreevy/McGrevy around 1846.
Many thanks for your help and kindness.

Hi,
I believe this is Thomas' birth?
Birth Dec 1874 - Liverpool - 8b - 128: Graley, Thomas.
I also believe this is his death and an error was made in his age at death because there was only one TG born in Liverpool between 1874 and 1876.
Death Sep 1876 - Liverpool - 8b - 88: Graley, Thomas [1 yr].
Was this James' birth?
Birth Sep 1876 - Liverpool - 8b - 171: Graley, James.
Whom did Mary marry and when?

There is a marriage record for a Mary McGreavy and a Thomas McGraley in 1865, Our Lady & St Nicholas. In the Liverpool record office. Maybe the "Mc" was entered in error. Moya
