I don't know if this is of any help tracing family?
In the census 10yrs after 1901 there is a Despina Fachiri
aged 46yrs living in Knaresborough Yorkshire.
With her is Nicholas A 78yrs and Cleopatra 68yrs.
Using the free index.
Free BMD
Death of Nicholas A aged 81yrs 1915 Knaresborough
Despina in Warrington 54yrs in 1918.
Cleopatra Tox Park 1920 76yrs.

Around 1911/13 was probably the peak of Liverpool's prosperity and cotton traders - merchants and brokers, - doing very nicely. A surprisingly large number of them had originated in Greece, Germany, Russia and other exotic climes.

thanks again for all your help ,I am passing it on as I get it , have tried to find out when the house was built but having no luck any ideas please? the area was most certainly made up of many different races ,my first job was in the Albany way back in the fifties number 24 ,chartered surveyors , Erikas reply has brought it all back

Sefton Park was opened in 1872 and the land surrounding it had been made available for development of the villas, so they will be from that period.

Mrs Marigo who wasn't in 1914 Directory.
I've found a death for her 1951 aged 96yrs :shock:
In Paddington London.
bn 1855 c.
Just thought you'd like to know..

I don't have subs for this but it looks like
Nicolas married Cleopatre Zizinia in Marseilles,
his father Andre..
