Kirk Family info please. 1970's Liverpool to states

Hi, I was wondering if anybody here has any info about the Kirk family. The information i have is minimal, and not even certain.

I was told the Kirks lived in Liverpool until the 1970's(possibly late 60's), when they moved to the U.S.
Paul might have had a brother whose name is Martin. Their mother may have been deceased before they moved to the states.
I was told Paul Kirk may have been deported back to the UK, or passed away in the 1980's.
I realize I dont have much to go on, and what I do have is quite vague. I will be picking a cousins brain this week, and will add anything of relevance.
Any info will be helpful, even just a confirmation of the above. Thanks.

Hi, thanks for the direct link.
When doing a net search for Liverpool forums all I get are football club results.
Sorry if I have not followed your boards rules, My apologies, and thanks again for the above info.

So if anyone has any info on any of the non-living members of this particular Kirk family i would still appreciate it.

It's not rules that are broken, just that we tend to be more interested in ancestors than living people - we are strange that way, we know!

To trace the family backwards we would need some more definite information, such as a date and place of birth and parents marriage details, we would do what we could to help.

Ahh, not strange at all:) Thanks again for the other links. When I have finished the Kirk search, i would like to come back and trace my mothers side of the family. My mom made a "family tree" in high school(way before ancestry.com and the like), and she traced her ancestry back until the mid to late 1700's, when our family moved to the us(virginia) from the UK. I would like to confirm what info she has compiled.
Thats for another time.
I appreciate your help, sorry for the rambling on up there, lol. I guess you can remove this post.

Very well done to your mum, it was a very difficult task to undertake without the assistance of searchable databases and the internet.

I won't remove your message, you never know who might come looking for your Kirk family and they will be able to make contact with you by replying. Good luck with your search.

Hi Brian, from another one!

While, as MaryA said, we normally concentrate on the past, I sometimes take a look into future or recent past. Do you have any indication of an age or YoB for Paul Kirk? The nearest decade perhaps? The name combination is relatively unusual and even a very rough idea of his birth year could get us started backwards. I have sent you a PM.

Hi Brian and welcome

The only birth for a Martin Kirk in Liverpool was way back in 1894 - parents Cornelius and Emily

Not very many Paul's born Liverpool before 1970 - about 4

Problem is if they were born in another county but just lived in Liverpool
