Hello

My Great Grandfather, John Belmer Goodman, was killed in a train crash in Ormskirk in 1910. I am sure this would have been reported in the local newspapers and I woul like to see any reports. Can anyone tell me what newspapers were around in 1910?

www.railwaysarchive.co.uk records this accident as 25 November 1910. They have the documentation about it on the site.

The local newspaper would be the Ormskirk Advertiser. I believe that Ormskirk Library holds microfilm copies of the newspapers but you would need to check that.
