Crosbie Family

My father is Edward Crosbie. He is the grandson of Elizabeth Crosbie. The 1881 census shows Elizabeth as a 15 year old. She appears to have had an illigitimate son Edward born 1892. He remembers the Sinker family. From what I can tell Elizabeths parents are William and Elizabeth Crosbie. Her brothers were John, James, William and Charles according to the 1881 census.

Hi, I believe you are related to my in-laws. I will have to wait until I get home from work before I can get the full details - please send me your email address by pm and I'll write to you direct.
There are a couple of links on this forum where people have helped

Are you by any chance in Canada? If so I believe I may have met your father once.

Both Hilary and I have been very lucky this New Year! I've spoken with my sis in law and she's very eager to make contact.

Just for the record Yvonne and I have made contact by email, and also my sis in law. Turns out it wasn't her father who visited way back in the '70's but he is the full brother of my mother in law, the two who visited were step brothers.
It's good to be able to fill in a little more of each other's trees, and that is thanks to our crew who helped in the past.
