Carlberg/Karlberg

This request has been received by the Society. Anyone any ideas? I've tried on Liverpool Aliens and on the National Archives but nothing.
A brother of my grandmother mentioned that my grandmother's uncle who moved to England died before my great grandmother, i.e. in 1938. This is, if I understood (or remember) it correctly. Unfortunately, I was not told the name of this person. But since I have researched my family history on and off since the 1970s, he was one of two persons:
1. Hjalmar Fredrik August Carlberg/Karlberg born in the town of Sundsvall, Sweden, 17 Sep 1858. He was probably a seaman and left Sweden around 1878. He got his inheritance in Liverpool in the Fall of 1882 and one of the necessary papers was witnessed by the Swedish and Norwegian (combined) vice consulate in Liverpool 8 Nov 1882. That is the last sign of him.
2. His brother Karl (Carl) Ferdinand Carlberg/Karlberg born Sundsvall 18 Sep 1863. He is registered as leaving Stockholm for England 5 May 1879 - that's it. He vanished. Maybe he joined his brother?
One other information is that their older sister died in the US in March 1902 and none of these two brothers are mentioned in her obituary. It could be that they were not known or maybe that they were already dead.
My question is if it is possible for You to help me by, perhaps, in some way try to locate Hjalmar in Liverpool in 1882? Maybe then there are ways to follow him.
All help gratefully received
