I have Slaters 1846 Liverpool but wonder if any directories after 1846 up to 1875 have mention of a Robert Wolfenden Kenny (b Ireland c1814 died Liverpool c1875) - believe he lived 1861 Everton and 1871 Tuebrook.
Also his son Arthur Thomas Kenny (b1855-1893) - who in 1881 census was in W Derby as cattle salesman.

Many thanks

Hi Barbara
Sorry I don't have directories for your time frame.
In 1853 there is a John Wolfenden butcher
55 Vauxhall Rd.

Erika - great - that's him but obviously spelt as KennEy. He did live at Bankfield Rd. Assume that was also Gores 1860.

Many thanks

Thanks Erika & Tina. Yes agree - the name Kenny appears with various spellings! However, I have just spotted my typo in original posting - Arthur did die in 1883 not 1893 as I'd mistyped!

Many thanks
Barbara
