Thanks again DS.....that is really helpful. Certainly ties in with information I have.
My father passed away 4 weeks ago, so my only link to Liverpool has now gone....together with any other information he would have had.
I have since found about 20-25 old photos of Liverpool relatives, and most of which are named (either from talking to my dad ages ago and getting him to name people, or names on reverse)
As said before, I am limited to what I can do from Dorset, and the chances of getting up to Liverpool to look at records properly is probably not going to happen this year!
I certainly have loads of loose ends, and branches, to tidy up on my Liverpool tree now. My Dorset tree has been a easy experience compared to my Liverpool one!!
I did have a possible lead on another Liverpool website. A "betty robinson" posted something about my dad, which my son discovered just after he passed away....which I replied to...but as yet no reply. She may have used a PC from a day centre or something?

Again thanks to all

Re: Can anyone help with my history? Curran, Robinson, Lundb
Hi.
I've just joined this really useful website.
My name is Janet Lundberg. I was born in Toxteth, Liverpool in 1966. My dad was William Lundberg and he had a step sister and brother from his mum Edith's first marriage. Edith's maiden name was Robinson. The Parr children were Margaret and James. Edith was widowed (I'm not sure how he died) and re-married William Lundberg my grandfather. They had more children: Anne, Edith, Esther, William and Lily. Only Lily is still alive.
Anne married Ray Carley and they ran the Bootle Strand pub right next to the Strand station. My grandmother Edith Lundberg lived with Anne after William died and we visited her and my aunt and uncle at the pub many times. It was a huge Victorian pub, really busy in its day.
Stan was Esther's husband I think. He may have been a boxer but my dad didn't mention it. My dad and his dad were very keen boxing fans.

On the other side of my family, is there much on music hall artists in Liverpool around 1950?

Hi Janet, I've been away from this forum for quite a while, but working it out.....I think my Gran and your Gran were sisters (Robinsons). I have a few photos and other bits. I'd love to share these with you and hopefully we could fill in a few blanks together. Please feel free to e-mail me.Lundy wrote:Thanks Mary.
