Back in February I said, "Gore's Directory 1803 includes the street in its list of street names no mention in Gore's 1800", so at the moment I think c1800-1802 is the most likely date for when the street was originally built.jill wrote: ↑26 Oct 2018 20:49Hi - just seen your questions re when Gascoyne street was built- my ancestor (Thomas Taylor Shipwright) was living here when baptising his children from 1805 until 1811. Hope this helps. I am struggling to get beyond this date in Liverpool for my ancestors as Taylor is a common name. Would love to talk to anyone with Taylor ancestors in Liverpool prior to 1800 who has made progress and might be able to help. Jill
