help tracing mcgrath family liverpool

hi, we are trying to find a lady called marie mcgrath, marie would have been 18 in 1961/2. marie had a mother who was called josie but unsure if josie's surname is mcgrath or o'brien. we know that josie lived in the netherley/bellevale area of liverpool in the 1980's. we also think that josie had an irish accent so we are unsure wither marie may have been born in ireland or over here. we are trying to find marie as she is an adoptive relative, we have got the original birth and baptism certificates and adoption records but they give us no more information about marie etc her birth date or birth place so we keep hitting brick walls. we have been searching now for over 2 years and havent got any further than what we have 2 years ago. we would be really greatful for any help or tips. thanks laura xx
