finding a grave

Post by seeker »

Hello to all on the Forum
Can you tell me the procedure to finding the grave of someone buried at Ford Cemetary in 1967?
Regards

You need the name and date of death. In the Liverpool Record Office there is a black box of microfiche for Ford, Yew Tree and Ainsdale.

You will be able to find the entry matching your ancestor and it will give you the cemetery, and grave reference which you can then cross reference and find the other burials in the same grave.

There are also now many entries on Ancestry, if you can give us the name and date we will have a look and see if there is an entry online.
