Are you looking for descendants or ancestors?

If the former, we have tried to suggest a few sites for you to check out http://www.forum.liverpool-genealogy.or ... =14&t=8154

Your post reads as though Kathleen's maiden name was Hambleton and she married a Mason, but I don't find any entries that match this. Could you clarify please.

OK my mistake

Hambleton Mason married Kathleen Donovan in a Civil Marriage in Birkenhead in Q4 1915 (GRO Ref. 8a 1385)

Either they moved or Kathleen was an only child.

Hambleton Mason is an uncommon name - there are two earlier marriage entries with this name, one in Prescot in Q3 1898 and another in Liverpool Q4 1840, might be worth bearing in mind.

Can probably trace Hambleton back a bit if you don't have subscriptions to online sites, please let us know what you are looking for.

You would need to purchase the death certificates to confirm for sure that they are the Kathleen Masons in your tree. The indexes only give you a rough idea of when a person may have been born, married or deceased. The sort of information that may confirm for you their identity would be such as the name of the informant on the daughter's certificate you would expect the informant to be her mother. The mother's certificate should tell you her husband's name and occupation.

Here are the index details if you want to purchase the certificates:-

Name: Kathleen Mason
Year: 1938
Quarter: Oct/Nov/Dec
Age: 22
District: Liverpool North
Volume: 8b
Page: 602

Name: Kathleen Mason
Year: 1972
Quarter: Apr/May/Jun
Age: 76
District: Liverpool
Volume: 10d
Page: 939
