hi i am trying to find a grave in anfield cemetary
The surname is lightfoot, i recall one name on it as ann eliza also maybe a william, i used to go with my aunts when i was small so remember the location but when i went today i could not find it. I am wondering if the headstone has gone. It used to have a bush on it. I did see a bush like it but no stone.
So basically do i have to go to the cemetary to find this out.
many thanks

I am not sure, all i know is its an old grave, if you were standing outside the main gates looking in, the one after the crematorium its to the western portion, if thats any helpKatie wrote:When did the person's die who are buried there. If you know you will be able to find out what section and grave they are interred in.

The Registers are in the Liverpool Record Office, at the World Museum. You will be able to find the entry by date and this will give you the grave reference. There is a map also on the microfilm which will give you a guide to finding the location.
