Hi Germaine

Did they ask you to send them a cheque through the post or have they suggested another way of paying?

I could have sent a cheque or ring them and pay over the phone on my card. Well I am terrible at waiting so I have rung them he is going to scan them in and send them straight away.
Wish everything was so easy.

I will write it all down later and put on the website page like Mary asked so it will be easier for people.

Thanks Germaine. One of my Manx ancestors was a hatter I can imagine his Will being a long one.

Yes Blue unless he only left it all to once person.
These were interesting but only went and raised more mysteries.
Didn't leave anything to who I hoped he would but did explain one thing well I think it did.
Oh well that is the fun of this hobby.

I've sent the cheque off for my (mad?) hatter's will there's seven pages in total (£7) so it's not too bad.

My Will arrived via e-mail on Friday very good service considering I only posted my cheque on Thursday! My ancestor was the oldest son but he had two unmarried sisters living in the family home when their father died. They got the house and he and the other siblings got sums of money.
