There is a picture in the City Engineers collection 352 ENG/211452 taken 1951 titled Abandoment of Tram track Stanley Road at Arlington Street.
There is also a index of Photographs and small prints index at the records office with a index of all photographs they have in their collection. You could also look in 352 HOU which has more photogrpahs.
These are now only available at Sandhills you could try emailing roger.hull@liverpool.gov.uk and asking him
