House in Aigburth Vale - 'Otterspool Bank' in 1915

Post by daggers »

Can anyone help to identify the location of a house once standing in Aigburth Vale, named 'Otterspool Bank' and occupied in 1915 by Sir James Barr?
His son Samuel was killed in WW1 serving in the Hussars.

Hi daggers

Otterpool Bank was situated between Irwell Lane and Elmswood Road at Aigburth Vale near the Aigburth Vale School.

In 1914 Directory Joseph Chadwick a shipowner lived there.

Sir James Barr was living at 72 Rodney Street a physician MD LL.D and loads of other letters after his name
