Cost of BMD certificates to rise

The cost of certificates ordered online is to rise from £7 to £9.25 on 6 April. However any ordered by post, telephone or without full details will also be £9.25.

There has been no rise since 2003

Germaine's also posted on Not Genealogy Board, everybody will get to see it in one place or another. That's quite a hike on some of those charges, not just the standard certificate, I pity anybody housebound who wants to marry, charges have almost doubled.

As you say, make your minds up quick if there are any you really want.
