Frankland Road Wallasey

Hi All
Can anyone tell me if 41 Frankland Road Wallasey was a private house in 1930?, or tell me how I can find out. I have tried googling it up but only Franklin Road Birkenhead came up.

Hi Val,

I looked in 1911 and 1938 directories and Frankland Road wasn't listed in either of them, you could try Wirral Archives who may be able to help.

Thanks for your reply, it's odd that it doesn't appear in either 1911 or 1938, it was listed as a relative's address on a death certificate in 1930. I will give the archieves a try.

Not listed in 1894 Directory where Bhead/Seacombe/Wallasey are listed separately.

Try Wallasey Library - maybe the street has changed it's name at different times.

Wallasey library got back to me with the names of the occupants on the 1930 electoral roll, unfortunately my Great Aunt was not one of them, but at least I know it was a house not a hostel. Thanks again for your help
