Can anybody advise on the whereabouts of a Military Hospital in Mossley Hill, possibly a large property taken over for that purpose, for injured/wounded services personnel returning from service overseas.

Which war?
In WW2 the hospital referred to in Mossley Hill was operated by the Ministry of Pensions and there were certainly plenty of wounded there, some brought by train to Mossley Hill Station. There may also have been one at St Katherine's College, which became part of Liverpool Hope University, Taggart Avenue, Childwall.

Hello jan44, doe doe, +daggers, (sorry, daggers, I should have stated The First World War). My wifes' grandfather was there for sometime after WW1,having been wounded, and he said it was "A big House somewhere in Mossley Hill. " We assumed that it had reverted to civilian use after WW1. It shows that you should never assume, just get the facts! Thanks for your help,
