Frances Seddon marriage

Post by Lewisff »

Hi,

I am looking for the marriage of Frances Seddon and Samuel H Tricker, which took place sometime in Liverpool between 1888 and 1895.

Any help would be appreciated,
Regards
Frank

The only marriage on www.lancashirebmd.org.uk for a Samuel tricker is

Samuel H Tricker married Frances Kemp 1899

This was a West Derby register office or registrar attended marriage

The names seem so similar - do you have proof that Samuel's wife was Seddon before marriage?

On FreeBDM the only Marriage I can find is for a Frances SEDDON in Bolton Sept Qtr 1893 (Bolton 8c 499) to either:

Benjamin HODKINSON

or

Joseph William VICKERS

I could not find any Marriages listed for a Samuel TRICKER?
Searching for:
Bennett, Brown, Brunn, Collins, Critchley, Dickinson, Dodd, Duffy, Eaton, Edwards, Hertzberger, Highton, Holland, Humphreys, Melling, Morgan, Murphy, Walker, Webster, Wright, Owens, Prudon & Speed.

Frances Seddon marriage

Hi Ed Officer.

I have just realised that I am looking fro Frances KEMP's marriage, not Seddon. It was Frances's elder sister, Ada , who married John Seddon!!!

I think Tina has found them on the 1901 census , although she has them as Fricker, and not Tricker.

Frank

To find more information from the marriage certificate you will need to order the certifictae as with no church it is not possible to llok it up at the Record Office.
The reference to order it from the GRO is

Samuel Henry TRICKER married Frances KEMP West Derby Registration district June Quarter volume 8b page 1044.

Hi Frank
Pleased it's all turned out well.
Joseph Kemp 1901 wouldn't normally list, in full, servants etc but the surname was important in view of previous findings.
Forgot to put Joseph bn Cheadle.

Anc@ have Frances & Co as Fricker
Samuel Henry's birth is listed Bhead rego 1862 as FRICKER in Anc@ & in Ches BMD

71/81/91 census has FRICKER..(father Wm bn Portsea Hants)
His baptism in LDS

If you need more info, just sing out.
Cheers

Hiya Frank
No worries :)
I just hope I have the right one in 1901?
1911 He is listed as
William Selden Fricker in Tockie Park, using free search, the only member of household is Edward Vey Fricker 54 yrs.

1911 Gores/Kellys has Edward V Fricker manager
26 Oakbank Rd W
British Phone Books same address, last listing 1934.

Can you believe I remember this road
Short cut to Greenbank Park...
Can't believe it.

Death Edward V Fricker 1935 aged 77yrs Lpool South
Death William Fricker 1940 aged 76 yrs Lpool South

I don't know if these two old boys ever married?
