Hello Colette,
Re Scotland BMD:
Searched marriages from 1875 to 1891 - all districts - but no hits. Tried with soundex on surnames but still no hits. Sorry!

Hi Col

Any possibility that Elizabeth was married previously?

Wesson

Post by colette »

Hi Carole

we have explored that possibility.. she was single in 1881 working in Edgbaston as a House Maid for a Solicitor.. so the marriage would have to be 1881-early 1883 as she has her first son in Liverpool late 1883.
