Armstrong/Reed marriage

Post by Lesley Black »

Hi Folks

Looking for marriage details for my maternal grandparents - I've no info at all on either of them except their dates of death (1963 & 1964). i was only just 8 when they both died and never got round to asking my mum anything before she passed away.

After they married they lived in the Clubmoor area of Liverpool but don't know where they came from originally - sorry it's so vague just wondered if anybody could help

Elizabeth Jane ARMSTRONG
Herbert REED

Thanks

Lesley

Hi,
According to Lancashire BMD they married 1910 at Breeze Hill Presbyterian Church.
Free BMD gives the reference as

Mar 1910 W. Derby vol 8b page 793

Hope this helps,
Emeltee

Great clue there Emeltee.
1911 census Herbert 24 in W Dby, going through freebie, Elizabeth 20 also an Elsie who is 12 so perhaps a sister of Herbert?
Also listed although not in same household is Herbert Reed W Dby 54yrs.
