If anyone is going to Liverpool records office I would appreciate a look-up. I found the marriage on the new Catholic marriage site so have the church details.
The couple in question are Nicholas Daly to Emily Meyler at St Philip Neri in the Jul-Sep quarter of 1884. I'm particularly interested in the name of the groom's father.
There's no real hurry as I'll be away next week. Hope the dreadful weather we've had here will be gone by then - I'm fed up of thunderstorms and torrential rain!
Cheers
Barbara

Info as follows
2 july nicholas 54 ratcliffe st father william (latin gulichmi)or something like this
emily is written in latin (eailiam) father gualterii which i think is another version of william 139 bedford st
witness gulichma arthur hughes greenland or queensland st
amy roberts 139 bedford st
Icant really see why they would put two different versions of william on the same cert so it would be worth looking on the latin name translation list Irene

marr details
Hi Barbara, I had already had the marr cert of my gt gt grandparents, who were married at st Anthonys scotland road in 1848 ,so had the fathers names of the couple, but never had the mothers names,I too looked at the new RC church records site and contacted the site ( a link is provided) and for £3 pounds they sent within 24 hrs all details they had which included mothers names as well, I was really made up with that as they were from Ireland and there was no way I would have found them .
