The Irish Geno site is down at the moment.
This morning I viewed Catherine Treanor/Traynor birth and it reflected Patrick's posted above, parents.

Re: Trying to find a mother
Hi Bert, thanks. That is the correct family. I have Catherine, Mary and Patrick as children of Thomas and Bridget and have the birth records and some baptismal. The Mary Traynor in Bebington Road in 1891 could be my Mary. In another record she stated she was born in 1868, so either didn't know or telling porkie pies.Bertieone wrote: ↑12 May 2020 13:25The Irish Geno site is down at the moment.

By the way, Irish Genealogy site is working, it often appears to be down but linking from another site or a cached page works.

Re: Trying to find a mother
The infant 1891 appears to be Mary Kate, registered June Qtr 1891.
Mary looks favourite to be the mother of George and Elizabeth.

Re: Trying to find a mother
With George Broughton as the unmarried father of both? Maybe explains why young Elizabeth is sent back to Louth and in the 1901 and 1911 returns? Looking at a map, Grange Road and Bebington Road are only a mile and a half apart. Maybe Mary socialised with George, the barman born in Nottingham and had 2 children by him?
in 1901 Mary Traynor is working as a servant, this time in 70 Rock Lane West Birkenhead, which again is in proximity to Bebington Road.
There are a few variants in 1911 but nothing fits. There is a wedding in Birkenhead Q2 1903 of a Mary Traynor marrying either a Davies or Bull, but cannot see her with these surnames in 1911.
