Does anyone have information on the background or family history of Charles Langan, murdered in 1875? I have information about the actual murder and trial.

Charles Langan was born 17 March 1842, baptised 20 March 1842, St Nicholas.

Parents, Charles Langan, Jane Nash, married, 5 Feb, 1837, St David's Liverpool.

1851 census?

There is a possibility that I am descended from Charles Langan and I am trying to find out more about him.
