I have acquired the certificate for their marriage held on 19th April 1858 at St Stephens church, in the parish of West Derby. The photocopying is poor; it was done over 10 years ago. Is there any way of discovering James' address? Only the street number,13, is readable.

looks like, 13 Squires St.

In 1861, James Wilson, Bridewell Keeper and wife Margaret lived at 25 Squires St.

Bert - Thanks for the magnified copy which is pretty clear. Even with my magnifying glass i could not make it out.

I knew he was a bridewell keeper and, at a guess, moved round Liverpool to 'live on site'

I am delving into James' (an interesting chap) life and am sure there will be a lot more to discover.
