trying to find the birth of mildred lily pitts, born around 1916, hope she was a liverpool girl, married patrick maguire in liverpool 1943.

One of the initials there is E could be Elizabeth. Sometimes Elizabeths get called Lily. West Derby being Liverpool area is right but you appear to be looking for an earlier birth?

Hi Blue, yes spot on about Lily. Interesting is a marriage of Elizabeth Lily Belcher to Thomas James Pitts, Medway Rego 1904. Several births maiden Belcher in this region up until 1919. Then Mildred appears in West Dby. Peter was a Petty Officer in the R.N so perhaps was transferred to Lpool?? I like the mother having middle name of Lily. They are in 1911 census with her mother and 2 other kiddies. Thos J was born in Liverpool 1876!!
