Liverpool Parish Registers at Preston?

Does anybody please know if the parish registers at Liverpool Record Office are also held by Preston Record Office?

It's a lot nearer to me than Liverpool so was just wondering...................

There is an alphabetical list, L for Liverpool gives you the churches that are held there.

There are a few mainly early ones and often the BTs. lancashire a Record Office is not the Diocesan a Record Office for Liverpool so where they exist and have been lodged they will be in Liverpool. Most but not all C of E ones are on Ancestry. Even if they are on Ancestry not all years are there. One that's missing many years is St Peter.

Thanks ladies, I've checked it out with the link and it looks like Liverpool is the bee's knees. I thought Lancashire RO would have a copy of everything in the county. Wrong!!
