Britton Site and Walton & Kirkdale queries.
Britton Site and Walton & Kirkdale queries.
I wonder if anybody has seen a site on Liverpool about people with the name of BRITTON. Any deviations are accepted. I just found out last year that my Mothers' side of the family were from Liverpool. My Great Gran married a Britton. I need to find out what this site was, mainly to find out if I have family. I was in Liverpool last week and visited my Great Grans' house in Jonville Road, Walton. They moved to 70 CommerciaL Road. I think that's Kirkdale. If there's any Fenners or Brittons i n those areas, would they please let me know through this site. If this is the wrong part of the site to write this, just let me kn ow and tell me where I should go. Thanks.Marie.

If you googled Britton Family Tree or Britton Genealogy you will find a few websites pertaining to this name, perhaps one of these is the one you are looking for.
If you need more specific help, please give us some details, perhaps from one of the censuses, of the dates and names of the family and we will try to go from there.

I have just found this part of your site. Thanks to the people who found this info for me. I'll check it out over the weekend and hopefully, it proves fruitful. I'm not great at finding my way round the sites and often come across sites where I've asked something and then can't find it again. I live in hope!!!!

Wouldn't like you to miss out on any replies - go to top right User Control Panel > then in the left column click Board Preferences and in the 2nd heading beneath that "Edit Posting Defaults" the 4th entry down in the right hand column needs to be checked Yes to be notified upon replies.
Then you should receive an email when an answer is posted, it will have a link for you to go straight to the posting.
