Blaney?

Hi, I'm from Northern Ireland and am looking for my ancestor William W Blaney from Liverpool, all I know is that he was a tailor and had at least one son Hugh (born c.1850) who was also a tailor and moved to Ulster. Any ideas where I could start? Thanks
