Sorry Glenys I don't remember anybody mentioning Russia in their ancestry, we may not have any experience, but might I suggest Roots chat - http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php where there are a couple of boards that might be helpful to you - one for Immigrants and Emigrants and another for "Other Countries". Hope you have some luck.
