School records
School records
Does anyone know if there are any school records for St Vincent de Paul? I would love it there are some admissions registers between 1880 and 1910. I'm not very optimistic, but thought I would ask the experts.
Re: School records
You could contact the SVP direct and ask them the question, specifying the school you are interested in. There's a Contact address here: https://svp.org.uk/Liverpoolcc

Re: School records
Hi. It is not the SVP society that you need, it is SVP RC school. The old school closed many years ago, but there is a primary school now in Liverpool. If you google SVP RC school Liverpool, you will find an email, and website
names researching. Bradley Allen Crawley Shipway

Re: School records
It would be worth getting in touch with the record office at Central Library as they have school records there. I'm not sure if they have St. Vincent de Paul but they do have some of the nearby schools as I remember, many years ago, looking at the records of St. Patrick's & Harrington Schools.

Hi Cathy, just to thank you as i have just spent 2 hours looking at your echoes site and lost track of time, excellent reading,my mob were around Greenlands road from 1810 till 1820 but moved around then around late 1840s moved to cheshire after the death of two children, your pages gave me a real look into conditions as why they would have moved.
