There's a marriage in Liverpool records Anc* for John Looney to Alice Rudd..

Would sks be able give me the details... think it will be about 1903/4ish

Found their marriage listed on FreeBDM:

June Qtr 1903 (Ref: West Derby 8b 565)

aslo, on Lanc's BDM:

Married at St. Chrysostom, Everton (Ref: Liverpool : 2095WD/6/170)

I Edited my post & added the name of the Church they married in, so this should make it easier to find the exact date (through church records).

Thanks Mary & Pegasus :D so he was deffo married by 1904, but age is right for single chappy going to USA in 1904 :?

I've taken free trial with Ancestry worldwide for now. Found someone with the family in their tree so have messaged her. She seems to have recent activity, so hopeful for a response :wink:
