Can you tell us the details from the death certificate. The address would be a major clue of which area of Liverpool she would have lived and been buried. As it is so recent do you have any details of where other family members would have been buried as she may be in the same grave.

Online sources probably do not list entries as recently as 1999, but your first recourse should be to check the obituaries in the Liverpool Echo at the Record Office as this is the most likely place to give a clue.

The death was registered in the Month of January 1999 so this would mean looking through the Liverpool Echo from the last week in December 1998 to the 1st week in February 1999.

Violet Marsh's first husband in Canada was Joseph Johnston Stark. Second husband in Liverpool was Clifford William Bookey. Could she be buried with second husband? If so Clifford William Bookey, aged 56, of 20 Brae Street Liverpool 7, was buried on 11th October 1962 at Yew Tree RC Cemetery, West Derby, Liverpool in Section 1B Grave 225. This is a private or family plot.

Thankyou so much, you people are amazing. Must be Yew Tree as her son met an unfortunate death in 1958 and i knew he was buried there but coudlnt find violet or her husband.
If you dont mind me asking, how did you manage to get the section and grave number?
Once again thankyou for all your help

I think Ford and Yew Tree only go up to 1989 if you get in touch with the Roman Catholic Cemteries Board on 0151 522 1017 they will be able to tell you if she is buried there.

Hello,

Some MIs from Yew Tree can be found on this site: http://yewtreecemetery.co.uk/yewtreemis.htm

The MI for Section 1B grave 225 is at the bottom of this page:
http://yewtreecemetery.co.uk/yewtree/ye ... large.html

It mentions John Thomas Bookey (d 1936) and his wife Florence (d 1943) but no mention of Clifford or Violet. As we know Clifford is buried there I guess the stone was never updated.

Ancestry has the burial records up to 1965.
