Edward Mawdsley b. 18 november 1902, Bootle
Census 1911
7 Mona street, orrell, Bootle.
Living with parents and siblings.
On the 13th June 1919 he enlisted at seaforth for world war 1, giving a false age.
5 days later he was discharged, underage.
(I guess his fathers enlistment with his kids birth certificates might have had something to do with that)
Edward then enlisted in Navy, on 18 November 1920, he served until June 1923, where it was noted that he deserted.
Edward Mawdsley married his sweetheart in Sydney, Australia under a false name. He remained in Australia, worked hard and raised a family.

Lost and found.
