If you haven't done it already, go to the National Archives website and read about obtaining a Reader's Card. You will need to take a number of pieces of ID and register before you can look at the documents. The details are on the site. Once you have that they will show you where to start. Have a plan. It's easy to get distracted so make a list of what you're looking for. Take a camera to photograph what you are researching. Photocopying can be expensive and the queue for the photocopier can cause delays.
