Ireland Famine Relief Commission Papers 1845-1847 available on Ancestry.co.uk

These include nearly 7,000 letters written by Irish Citizens at the time of the Great Famine.

The index for this database says it's free, but I am unaware whether this is just for the index or for the images also.

Mary.

Images as well!

I found one that may be for one of My Ancestors?

On clicking 'View Image' it took me to the usual image page (were I found that each page had been saved in different sizes, so one single @A5 page filled an A4 sheet & all the rest varied from original size to @50% reductions).

A Nightmare to resize, but worth the effort If the doc does come in usefull!

Thanks for letting us know that even the images are free - a nice present from Ancestry.

I don't know if it would have helped you, but I'll put a suggestion here that I do when images are badly sized. I save them all to my computer and then open a Word document and insert each, they are easy to resize then by pulling the corners.
