Sefton War Memorials

Post by MaryA »

Today Sefton Libraries are launching the 'Beyond the War Memorial' website. The site gives details of the 11 Civic War Memorials and lists the names of the almost 4,000 Service Men and Women, from the area we now know as Sefton, who died during the First World War.

That will be useful, but we should not overlook the many other memorials in places of worship, clubs, workplaces, schools etc.
I wonder if someone will collate all those!

Remembering all those named.
