There is a site which records as much informaionas possible about soldiers who fought in the 14-18 war. It's called www.stockport1914-1918.co.uk.It would be useful for filling in the gaps as it covers a lot of different regiments

ETA There were snippets of new info written here about a cousin. Brought more than a tear to the eye. I knew when and where he'd died, but not the circumstances leading up to it.
