Thanks DS I got this message too about "Wickla". I'm wondering now whether Roots Ireland will put up Cork records before Irish Genealogy ie do. Free is a nice price to pay but I would certainly give some Euros to Roots Ireland if they put up records of my Great Great Grandparents.

Irish records update!
Hi Blue,
I ditto your sentiments entirely! I'd definitely be tempted to spend my beer money if the Clare birth/baptism and marriages went online. I've a g.g.g.father hiding there somewhere! Oh well, it took me 10 years to find the g.g.father so maybe another 10 to go...
I passed the update to a friend of mine whose family comes from Wickla'. He came back to me today to tell me, oh horror of horrors, he's just confirmed the family tale of 2 shotgun weddings! Dear me!

Hi DS
Oh dear well at least no one actually got shot like one of my ancestors but that's another story! I've got a nagging fear my lot may not appear in the Cork records. It's been passed down they were from Cork but you never know for sure until you see it in record form. I'll be punching the air the day I see my Cork people's records!
