Re: George Georgeopoulo
Hi Andy I know your request is about George, but I looked up the 1911 census for Elizabeth Jackson and found her living at 90 Robson Street, Everton. Her father has remarried to a Norwegian lady ( 5 yrs ) and they have 2 children. Elizabeth's age is given as 18, born 1893. Maybe she was born in Nove...

Re: Canterbury Street
Hi Bert
Thank you, I was able to find the address on the Electoral Registers and subsequently searched the 1871 & 1881 census. Didn’t get me any further forward but at least I’ve tried.
Take care

Re: Anfield Crematorium Records
Thank you all for your replies. Yes it was the original record I was looking at. The record was under England & Scotland , Select Cemetery Registers, 1800 - 2016 England - Merseyside - Liverpool Crematorium - 1956 29 Jun - 1957 22 Mar My mum’s name Rose May Campbell. I tried to insert the image on h...

Anfield Crematorium Records
Good Afternoon All I have just been looking on Ancestry and found records for Anfield Crematorium. My Mum was cremated there in 1956 so was pleased to find a record of the event. However I was horrified to find the entry was wrong. In the column headed Name, Occupation and Age was written Retired El...

Re: Forum
I haven't posted for sometime, but that's mainly because I am researching elsewhere at the moment. Also during the summer months and better weather, family history takes a back seat! However I check in to the site on a regular basis and try to keep up with what's happening, I'm usually too late to h...

Re: Catholic Baptisms
Hi Mary Thanks for your input. I have no idea regarding burials, just really needed to browse. My Owen family which is giving me some sideways concerns were what I wanted for baptism. Although parents were married in non RC church the first 4 children were all baptised in Catholic church. Then the r...

Hi All
Can anyone tell me if there are anymore Catholic baptisms later than the ones on Ancestry, online? ( for Liverpool )
Also is there a website for Ford Cemetery for burial records?
Thank you in anticipation

Re: 1939 Register
Funny you should ask that question yappie. I was looking today at my old records on FMP, haven't got a sub. Obviously in 2016 they had a free session, so I'd done a few searches. 1939 Register had a few saved records and one was a closed record which has now been opened, hence my post about written ...
