I have come across a female ancestor who was born in 1914 and married in 1933. She had a son in 1936 and another in September 1937 both with a different surname to that of the man she married in 1933. She married again in December Quarter 1937 to the man who has the name the two boys were registered...

Private Joseph Kane 63542 91st Coy Machine Gun Corps
I have a lot of information on Joseph's death in WW1. He died on 4th March 1917 of his wounds and I have photos of his war grave in Mailly Maillet in France. The only thing I don't know is how he got his wounds. Can anybody please advise on how I could find out. Thank you.
