As far as I am aware FMP update the closed records on a regular basis by running them using a computer programme against death registrations. Records can also be opened by subscribers who submit a death certificate for an individual.
I do not have any connection with Find My Past.

Hi PT with a date and a code means prior to the date shown the person registered with a doctor in that area. If there is the letter M with a date and and area code and a change of surname that means that the woman registered her married name with her doctor and was probably married shortly before th...

Can anyone prove a relationship to William Field born London about 1856 and died in West Derby in 1916? He married Rebecca in about 1879.

Thank you Mary. That information is very helpful. I have a suspicion I know who the people were and knowing the photographer died in 1885 half confirms that.
