Out of the 20+ Civilian Casualties of WW2 who had associations with Widnes, I have identified the burial location of all but 2. One of these is the casualty listed below. Royal Naval Sick Quarters Grappenhall

One of the Widnes WW2 Casualties that I have been researching was killed on the 21st April 1946. His death Cert states that he died at the Royal Naval Sick Quarters, Grappenhall.

Does anyone know what or where this was

The collar badge could certainly be that of the Kings Shoropshire Light Infantry.

The 1st Battalion of the KSLI spent the interwar years in India, returning to the UK in Sept 1939, after which it went to France with the BEF
