My late grandmother at some time between 1946 and 1955 worked 'in service' for a Liverpool family; I have a bed sheet she either appropriated, or was given, and it has a red laundry mark "Szabo".
Suggestions would be welcome as to how I can trace who she worked for, and where?

Fledge, Mary, I have a 'privae' tree on Ancestry, it used to be open to all until I found my info and photo's had been attached to other trees which bore no resemblance to mine ; wrong counties, wrong names, wrong dates. I did point out to one or two of the tree owners the 'error's.....................

Morning yappie, Interesting; think I found he was born "Goteberg" - could this be the same as "Gothenberg" I wonder? He really is a mystery.
